The Women’s team opened their campaign this past weekend with a strong performance against the High Park Demons in Round 1. It was a tough, contested match, but the Wildcats held their ground and came away with the win. Big thanks as well to the Men’s team and supporters who came out to cheer, run water, and back the Cats!
The Demons will now head to Ottawa to take on the Swans in an elimination match, while our Cats look ahead to a massive semi-final at home. The winner of next weekend’s semi-finals will square off in the Grand Final on Saturday, September 20th.

WOMEN'S TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
Best on Ground: Abbey Clark - dominant across the ground, leading by example in a pressure-filled final.
Hardest Worker: Lia Vansevenant – three goals and a relentless effort, pushing hard at every contest.

Milestones: Congratulations to Krysta Geloso (50 games) and Lise Kiefer (75 games). Two massive achievements that speak to their impact and commitment to the club.

The winner heads to the Grand Final, Saturday, September 20th. If you’re free, come down to Mohawk to enjoy some finals footy and support the Cats as they fight for a spot in the big dance.
LOOKING AHEAD – MEN’S CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
While the AFLO season is wrapped up for the Men, they’re not done yet. They'll be back in action at the Club Championship, October 4th & 5th at Colonel Samuel Smith Park. Teams from across Canada will be competing, so it’s a great chance to see some high-quality footy and back our Cats on the national stage.
