About the Wildcats

History
The Hamilton Wildcats Australian Football Club (HWAFC) was founded by Bill Frampton who took a keen interest in Australian Football and was inspired by the rapid growth of other Australian Football League of Ontario teams throughout the GTA in the late 1980s.
Check out the Welcome Handbook for more details.

Achievements
Throughout the years the Wildcat men and woman have had many successful seasons but recent years have brought the club the biggest successes. The woman's team made it to the Grand Final three seasons in a row, winning in 2019 and 2023. The men made it to back to back Grand Finals, winning in 2022.
